Re: TT hand with PF raisers
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] I don't like this fold after the pot gets heads up. One overcard to your pair , not an A or K, against one opponent, you will win frequently enough that the pot odds justify a call in my opinion. I'd fold on the river only if another overcard hits. [/ QUOTE ] Actually the more I think about this hand, the more comfortable I am with how I played it. On the flop, I at least have a running straight draw, and maybe the TAG was just hoping the 4-bettor would raise to get the pot heads-up. But once he fires again on the turn, his range (which is already narrow due to preflop) gets even narrower. This is especially true since (as someone else noted) the 4-bettor's range is now heavily skewed to AK after his fold, making that even less likely for the TAG. I just don't think I'm good 11% of the time here. [/ QUOTE ] If that is your assessment, the fold is good. I call only because I disagree with the 11% figure. But I also usually play against very aggressive opponents. Your estimate could be more accurate here. |
