Default Re: 200 NL - I Always Try Hard To Find Spots to Steal From Nits?

I really don't like any of this hand. There is some merit in folding JJ preflop here and getting on with the next hand. Yes it's likely to be the best hand but if you push or re-raise preflop you are likely to only be called by better hands and at best 50:50. By calling you are in a reversed implied odds situation where is very hard for you as the OOP player to get value when you are ahead but you'll likely pay off better hands to a varying degree and allow villains to take free cards if they want. I think you need exceptional post-flop skills to play JJ profitably for a call here.

As played I think there is some merit in leading the flop but I don't overly disagree with the check either. But you absolutely have to lead the turn IMHO. That is never a check! Having checked the turn I think that betting the river now is even more crazy.

The whole hand seems all very back to front to me.
