Default MBP home setup - a few questions

Hey. I plan on getting a MBP (high-end 15" 7200 rpm HD) when Leopard is released and I want to have a home setup with 2 monitors.

Questions:

1. The only way I'm aware of to hook up 2 monitors is using the Matrox dual2head. Is that the best/only way? In the FAQ it says PCMCIA/USB Cards - would these work with a MPB- better/cheaper??

2. I've read that the MBP tends to freeze, specifically when hooked up to an external monitor. Has anyone encountered this problem?

3. The FAQ suggests 1600x1200 monitors, but is there a reason the ones suggested (samsung 204b/204t) aren't widescreen - do they fit more tables?

4. Will I be comfortable playing 4 tables FTP on one 20" widescreen 1680x1050 monitor? According to the FAQ i think that's fine, but can someone confirm?

5. Any suggestions regarding wireless keyboard/mouse/speakers? I don't want to spend 10 mins hooking the thing up every time. Will they just automatically connect when in vicinity, or will i still need to manually activate the connections?

If anyone has a similar setup any advice would be great
