Just to give the odds:
When drawing one with trips, I have a 6% chance to make a full house. When drawing with a pair, he has a 1.02% chance to make a full house. Of those full houses, 103 out of 165 have me beat - in other words, he has a .64% chance of drawing a better full house. So, the composite probability of me drawing queens full and him drawing KKKAA or aces full is: .0064 * .06 = .000384 or .038%. By comparison, in Hold 'Em, getting perfect runner runner (i.e. AA getting an ace on turn and river for quads) is .09%. |
