Tough spot KQ
I found this spot very interesting and tough. SB (villain) is unknown, meaning I have less than 25 hands on him in my PT database. BB is 19/8 or so. I open KQdd in the CO, they call (effective stacks 100bb).
Flop (10bb): Qs Js 4s I bet 8bb, SB c/r to 25bb, BB folds, I call. Turn (60bb): 2d SB bets 30bb (leaving ~75 behind). 1) Is flop standard? I'm slowing down quite a bit with air in this spot against 2 villains, so should I also check some legit hands on such a scary board ? 2) Calling the c/r? I'm getting about 2.5 to 1, and I probably have just enough equity. But I won't always realize this equity. OTOH he'll bluff sometimes, or we can get it in with better equity on a blank turn. 3) Turn. Obviously this is commitment decision. Toughest part of the hand IMO. |
