New monitor possibly faulty

I bought a new monitor about three weeks ago and I am getting a red line about 2mm wide x15mm high on my screen appearing in different spots but on the same vetical line if that makes sense. I have tried turning off all software but it seems to stay. It doesn't appear on screenshots obv. I gather it is faulty, correct? I have a warranty so I'm hoping to get in and get another ASAP.
