Datamining

A couple of years ago people would open up as many tables on as many sites as possible, not to play them, but to gather data via Pokertracker on players which they could use when they would actually play.

I think most sites don't allow this anymore. Are there any sites (Pokerstars, Full Tilt,....) in which datamining is still possible (, maybe through some kind of "illegal" software add-on)?
