Default Re: Top boat on flop turns into a fold

[ QUOTE ]
I guess I just don't understand a line that encompasses both checking this flop to induce action, and then folding on the river when it goes all in. If you have his range solely on KK by the river, why in the world wouldn't you bet the flop?

[/ QUOTE ]

Obv I'm almost never folding my hand to any action, but the hand played out in pretty much the only possible way that I ever could. I'm also not putting him solely on KK, I expect him to show up with 99 or 33 more often.

Also, jfish, I just watched the jman cardrunners vid and I think his thoughts also sum up well why I don't like c/r the flop. I don't like turning my range into an extremely polarized one of huge hand/air on the flop, I want to take lines that let my opponents put me on a wider range of hands. Thus, I would prefer to lead this flop or check/call
