Define "worse"
In terms of which collapse causes more pain to the fanbase, it's choking in the playoffs, because it's in the playoffs. In terms of which collapse is more pathetic, it's the regular season choke. The Mets couldn't buy a win against the Nats or Fish. The Yankees lost four straight games to an excellent Sox team, which is going to happen from time to time.
