Keep money on table with table change?

A 1/2 NL (min $60, max $200) game was broken up by the floor and a player was moved to my table, also 1/2 NL. When the game broke, he had $1,200 in play on the other table.

Is he required to keep $1,200 in play at the new table?


(I didn't see anything in Robert's Rules about this situation.)
