10NL Too Aggressive?
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)
SB: $8.50 BB: $9.40 UTG: $17.55 MP: $11.40 CO: $53.75 Hero (BTN): $12.00 Reads:: I have a few hands on BB he is 30/2/1 and has shown down Ax. Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG folds, MP calls $0.10, CO calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.50, SB folds, BB calls $0.40, 2 folds Flop: ($1.25) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) BB checks, Hero bets $1.00, BB calls $1.00 This seems like a fairly standard c-bet Turn: ($3.25) 4 (2 Players) BB checks, Hero bets $3.00, BB calls $3.00 After calling my c-bet I'm putting villain on a FD or some other weak hand. I don't think KK2 hits his range. I think the turn bet was kinda out of line given that I've got a weak hand to show down with, however I felt being aggressive here was a reasonable play. River: ($9.25) 4 (2 Players) BB checks, Hero bets all-in for $7.50, BB calls all-in for $4.90 Uncalled bet of $2.60 returned to Hero I REALLY considered checking behind here, and in hindsight that is probably the best play. Assuming that he's got a FD he didn't hit and will be folding. If he's got Ax and is a comfortable calling down with it I'm stuck. Looking back I feel like I was too aggro here and committed myself with a marginal hand. I'll post results later for the curious. |
