Should i drop down a limit?

I have been playing $25NL for about 40k hands. I am winning overall at 2.5ptbb/100. Over the last 15k i am 6ptbb/100. I have had some pretty big swings during this period and I won't blame it on variance as i know I have made plenty of mistakes. I can easily account for 2 buyins of money in bad plays in the last 2 days. Should i consider dropping down to $10NL and playing there? Will this have any effect (my bankroll is fine for $25). I am running around 20/13/2.7, what range is optimal for $25NL?

I'm working really hard to try to get better, reading the threads constantly, reading books etc. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.
