[/ QUOTE ] Marty Schottenheimer got one of these in the Chargers' playoff game against the Jets a few years back. He came on to the field to argue a call. A few reasons why it doesn't happen more often: A - the coach can't always talk to the ref - he usually bothers the line judge. B - he's got to worry about what's going on more than any coach/manager in other sports but beyond these, I'm not sure why it doesn't happen more often. Perhaps the challenge system helps too. |
