[/ QUOTE ] My memory wasn't too specific, but I just checked the game info and MD was up by 11 at half. Duke got its first lead of the game with 6:48 to play, and if you're saying there wasn't an issue with the refs youre just being a huge homer, even the play by play guys were screaming about how awfully the game was being officiated in favor of Duke. Saying that 11 points "is not close" in an MD-Duke game is completely retarded, because they can trade runs like that in as little as 2 minutes (even less if you have Jason Williams). Also considering that the refs were calling ticky-tack fouls on Baxter all 2nd half (his 5th foul was just a completely awful call), it's not hard to see how they lost by 11. The officiating was god awful, were you paying attention? "Wasn't close"? L-O-L |
