All the mainstream candidates seem the same
The difference between Hillary and Giulliani is about as substantial as the difference between paper or plastic at the grocery store -- both will be horrible presidents.
I'm pretty positive that Hillary will get the democratic nomination, and Giulliani is without a doubt the current frontrunner for the Republican nomination. However, I don't think Ron Paul can be discounted as he's overcome such obstacles in the past.
When Paul decided to return to the Congress in '95 the republican NATIONAL committee threw its entire warchest against him in support of his opponent. However, the people saw through the BS and elected him despite the overwhelming odds. Although a long shot in a presidential election, there is definitely hope that something similar will happen. With the power of the internet now especially, it's much easier to get your message out and allow individuals to donate.
BTW Paul is running a last minute donation drive to boost his 3rd quarter campaign finances. The idea is to blow away all pundit expectations on how much he can raise. This will give him millions in free press, and force the national party to start taking him seriously.
