$1/$2 at my local house game.
SB: $200 BB (Hero): $120 UTG: $70 4 Seat: $250 5 Seat: $200 6 Seat: $55 7 Seat: $475 8 Seat: $125 BTN: $415 Reads: Game is pretty loose and a lot of poor players trying to see flops for cheap. Seat 7 is a very solid player who is normally a winner. 5 Seat is also a very good player who just lost with a set to the BTN who hit a flush on the turn and has just bought back in for 200. Preflop: Hero is dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG and Seat 4 fold. Seat five raises to 8 Seat 6 folds Seat 7, 8, and BTN call SB folds Pot is $35 Hero raises to $70 Seat 5 folds Seat 7 calls Everyone else folds. Flop: ($170) A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero does what? It's very possible he just thought I was on a steal but if he did why didn't he just go over top right there? Is it possible that he has a pair like 10s or Js? Do I throw in my last 50 due to the pot odds and pray that he folds or do I just concede defeat by checking and folding when he definitely goes all in because there is an ace on board. Next time this happens do I just push all in preflop? |
