Eh, it doesn't really matter, but there are at least four scenarios:

1.) Outside hackers
2.) Inside hackers but outside accounts
3.) Inside hackers with inside (special) accounts without management knowledge
4.) #3 with management knowledge

And finishing dead last in a bunch of tournaments in a row is so bizarre that I think 3 and 4 are becoming more likely.
