Re: Daliman\'s NFL Wong teasers, Season Deux: Week 2
you'd definately approach him and say you hope he don't takes credit if all he does is throwing dice?
This is a little different to playing craps. The title of the thread technically suggests ownership, which indicates to me that he (Daliman) wants to be credited. It seems all Daliman is doing is posting the bets anyone could make by reading a chapter of a certain book, yet people are are keeping his member nice and shiny and he goes along with it. Too bad that the sportsbook will eventually either run out of cash and/or decide to change their lines on teasers. I sent him a PM last year saying it was irresponsible but I think it's more about the praise/rep than the money. 5Dimes taking these +100 2 teamers They're not true even money teasers anyway. Hell, even with his posts, people here are STILL getting them wrong Then let them get it wrong. If they can't understand something as simple as a basic strategy teaser, they shouldn't be gambling at all. but he certainly adds value to the forum by pointing out which lines meet the criteria of a Wong teaser. It's not hard to figure out which lines meet the criteria. The issue isn't so much that he's brought them into the spotlight of this forum (they're no secret in sports betting forums), it's that he's almost certainly doing it for ego reasons. The way he has gone about it is irresponsible and egotistical. I believe basic strategy teasers would have been around well before Wong published the info in his book, and I don't think he takes credit for their invention anyway. Also, nobody calls them "Wong Teasers", although I'd understand why someone would do so. |
