Addressing the ball - sweet spot alignment
So I was on the range a few days ago and put some athletic tape on the face of my driver. I noticed that after a few swings I was typically making contact somewhere between the center of the face and the heel.
I started moving the ball more towards the toe at address ( I was previously setting up with the ball centered on the head), and of course I proceeded to hit the sweet spot with practically every swing. I was wondering if there is anyone else that sets up with the ball not centered on the face and if this is a good thing to do, or am I trying to fix something that is broken with something else that is broken. |
