Default Re: who is the worst nfl head coach?

Coughlin is not the worst. He is 93-85 and both teams he coached were bad (Jacksonville-expansion team, Giants 4-12 year before he took over) when he took over. He led Jacksonville to the AFC championship in their 2nd season and made the playoffs in years 2-5--compare that to the track records of the browns and texans.

Norv Turner is really bad. Not sure if he's the worst, but he's been awful over a large sample with two teams.

Yah, everyone has a short memory.

He lost to the Titans 3 times in one year. He couldn't get to the superbowl when he clearly had the best team in football that year. Coughlin has my vote.
