Default Brag: my dad

So I've been running like [censored] and playing like [censored] and I think the games have gotten tougher and e-mailed my dad saying I can't take it anymore and think I will move down soon.

Here is his response.

Nick,

You are a good player IF your head is right and you have enough sleep and concentration. You have done well and basically made this your career. Don't doubt your basic skillset no matter how other people play. Look at yourself and decide are YOU playing as good as you can, because when you are on you are very good.

On the other hand, if you are tired, not right, not concentrating, not only poker but the world will take advantage of you. Make sure before you change your direction, you have a good thought process and understand why you are doing what you are doing. I think you are good enough at any level, but I also have said why move up when there is a lot of very good money easily made at lower leveles?

Either way, love you,
Dad

---That made me feel pretty good. I think a lot of parents/people don't understand what I do. Its nice to hear this. I think my dad is one of the few people that when I say I suck at gambling I wanna play for less money basically says, "BS you're great at it, get your head together and get that money back!"

Just thought I'd share.
