Roommate Prop Betting Dispute
As UCF 75 is starting, my roommate and I are deciding to bet on the matches. He picks a fighter in the first match, then I pick the second ect ect whoever gets more right wins. We both know almost nothing about who's favored in each match, and later on realize he was wrong about how many fights there were.
Just as the first fight is starting we agree on the format, but are argueing over how much it should be for - He wants to do it for $20, I want to do it for much more. We are also watching it on DVR tape delay and he knows I already saw half of the 4th fight. Right as we are deciding on the amount, the guy he picked gets knocked out in the first round and he refuses to have that fight count. I call him a pussy and we finally agree on my $20 vs his $10 and a delicious ice cream cookie (which is what I really wanted). The 4th fight comes up, and he realizes I already have a good idea who wins the fight. He whines and says it isn't fair, but he's the stupid one who agreed to it at the start. He says I can pick the last 2 fights if he can pick this one. Again, not wanting to get into a fight over it, I agree. Well, there wasn't 2 more fights, and I tell him his pick can't count. He then says "BLAH This is why I hate prop bets because someone always tries to [censored] me." So, I need you, BBV, decide who wins and how it should complete. |
