Default Can I get away from this on the turn?

First off, let me say I have not been on this table for too long. Then this hand comes up.

PokerStars $0.25/$0.50 No-Limit Hold'em - 9 players
Hand Converter Tool from DeucesCracked.com

CO: $13.60
Button: $13.50
SB: $22.95
BB: $52.45
UTG: $16.95
UTG+1: $53.50
UTG+2: $48.10
MP1: $40.80
MP2: $62.65

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG calls $0.50, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, Hero raises to $2</font>, MP2 calls $2, CO folds, Button calls $2, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls $1.50.

Flop: ($8.75) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)</font>
UTG checks, Hero bets $4.50</font>, MP2 raises to $9</font>, Button folds, UTG folds, Hero calls $4.50.

Turn: ($26.75) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)</font>
Hero checks, MP2 bets $9.50</font>, Hero calls $9.50.

River: ($45.75) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)</font>
Hero bets $20.30 (all in)</font>, MP2 calls $20.30.

Final Pot: $86.35

The only reason I push on the river is I figure the 8's and 7's pairing up helped me, as I had put him on a set with the min raise, but I was willing to gamble that he did not have a four of a kind. Is that corrupt logic there?
