I think at this point, a Jeter/ARod switch is pretty out of the question...

The Yankees just drafted + signed a SS named Carmen Angelini from Louisiana... he was going to play at Rice, so he wasn't drafted til the 10th round. But, of course, the Yanks threw a million bucks his way and swayed his decision.

Apparently, this kid is for real. He's only 18, so once he's ready, that may be the cue for Jeter to move into the outfield. He'd be a pretty decent OF, imo...not sure how the ego would handle that. As much as he's a team guy, leader, etc... going from being a SS for 15-ish years, to the outfield, replaced by a kid... not sure how Jeter would handle it.

I would be all for it, though.
