Absolute VIP wierdness

Ok, I haven't played absolute poker for a year. And a year ago, I used to be a VIP, I think the smallest tier. Anyways, I deposited back again and when I looked at the cashier, it says I had negative 1.6k VIP points. Yea wierd but I ignored it anyways. So then I played one orbit of poker at a 1/2nl table just to get the feel, and right after I closed the table, I got a vip status change. Then when I looked at the cashier, it said I had 6.2k VIP points. WTF?
