Should i just let this pass by?

about a year ago i got scammed by a person i thought i could trust over the interwebz (lol...i know.) it was for $600 he said he would repay me no matter because he "always pays his debts" so i stake him and he loses it in the first 3 days or something

he tells me that hes gonna pay me back and about a month later he blocks me from aim/msn or watev and i havnt heard from him for over a year...

Today i found out his Full name and the town he lives in...unfortunatly hes in Canada and i am in Australia.

back then $600 was a lot to me...its chump change now, but i still dont like knowing that i got [censored] like that.

So what would u do?
