Default Data execution prevention message

I turn on my comp this morning and I get a message that says:

Data Execution Prevention

To help protect your computer, windows has closed this program.

Name: Windows explorer
Publisher: Microsoft

There's a button that says "close message," so I click on it, then 10 seconds later the same window pops up again. So now I'm just leaving it there. wtf does this mean?
