Live 3/6 - Is 3betting flop for a free turn stupid or no?
Live office game. $3/$6 LHE (5 handed)
SB is pretty good. He's a regular tag in full ring situations, but can transition to smartLAG when it gets short (He's a winning player at 5/10 6max online). It's getting late though so he might be feeling gambly (cold-calling pre-flop from SB with marginal hands etc). BB is fundamentally solid, but can be a bit weak/tight. Preflop: Hero is Btn with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls. Flop: (6 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB raises, BB calls, Hero 3-bets, SB calls, BB calls. Any merit to this? |
