Re: 60 Stars: Is this regular trying to spite bubble me?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Why not push yourself from the button? Almost a third of your stack is sitting on the table, you have a decent hand considering the SB's calling range (basically ATC), and the BB is unlikely to get involved without a big hand with such a tiny stack hanging around on the bubble. [/ QUOTE ] Pushing here when OP has a history of being called light by the BB? Bad bad idea. And fwiw, most SBs aren't calling with ATC. [/ QUOTE ] The existence of the ultra short stack changes things IMO regarding his history of calling light. Most players, even those with a tendency to call light, won't do so with an ultra short stack hanging around on the bubble. As for the SB, I can't see how we could expect him to fold (although I think this would increase FE as to the BB). He's got to call his last 450 for a pot of 1250. He's not likely to see a better spot to get his chips in. And if he folds he's only got about 1 BB left. Lastly, Q8 isn't a horrible hand against two randoms. |
