Default Live - Session Fee\'s and Buy-in Short Buy-in

I play a lot of poker online and occasionally go play live. My friend has invited me to go play with him this week at the casino by his house. There is 2 problems:

1. There is a 5 dollar session fee every half hour

2. There is a max. buy-in of $100 for the 1/2nl game and $200 for the 2/5nl game

I am worried that this is just a stupid waste of money to go and play at this casino, there is a casino further away like an extra 2hrs. that allows for 200 buy-in at the 1/2 and the rake every hand for $5 max.

So assuming the players are all donkey's what do i do. Is it worth playing at the 100max 1/2 table with the session fee? It just seems so -ev and is the 2/5nl any better? Help someone out that doesn't want to get ripped off.
