Re: Going to take the LSAT in October, just started prep yesterday...
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] You could make your life a lot easier by having no ambition. I knew I wanted to go to either of two law schools that didn't require spectacular scores. After I scored a 168 on the one practice exam I took I didn't do anything else except a few game drills a few days before. Only scored a 165, though. [/ QUOTE ] Anyone seriously considering law school should ignore this advice. Unless you know you want to go to a specific law school AND have a score capable of getting you their highest scholarship, then you should still bust your ass to get it. I had a law school in mind when I started doing the whole LSAT thing. My initial practice scores were in the range. I kept studying anyways. Improved my score. Went to that same school. Got scholarships I wouldn't have otherwise gotten. Saved 100k. [/ QUOTE ] I thought the "having no ambition" part of my post was enough to show that the advice that was to follow wasn't serious nor good advice. |
