3/6 Live: Too aggressive on turn?
Playing in my usual Friday night B&M donkfest. There are one or two decent players though. Villain is one of them and I've played with him a few times and he's a thinking player (and possibly a winning one).
Villain is in BB. Folded to hero in MP1. Hero calls with QJo One or two others limp in, SB completes and BB checks. Flop: A 10 K rainbow (Broadway! woo hoo ) Villain checks, Hero bets, folds to Villain who calls. Turn: 10 Villain bets, Hero raises, Villain 3-bets... It's here that I meant to just call, but for some reason my hands grab chips and inadvertently cap it. Thinking that I just called, I sit patiently waiting for the dealer to deal the river. When nothing happens, I ask what's going on and realize that Villain is pondering a call. He then mucks. Did I lose an extra bet or two by capping it? Was it too aggressive? All thoughts on all streets are appreciated. |
