Default Re: Vegas Trip, Poker Room Questions - help please

This is from someone who was there during the series...

First of all I would try to hit up a bunch of rooms. I just would sit down and play for a couple hours and then move on unless I was on a heater. I had so much fun being able to say I played in soo many different rooms.

Also you will find the one you like best by doing this. Every casino is different and draws different people. If you go to IP, there are usually beginners there and usually no grinders. I suggest you start here. Bonus for checking out the dealertainers!!

then make your way down to Bellagio cuz you gotta see this place along with the infamous Bobby's room and maybe spot a few fanboy favorites. Hit up Venitian for the most beautiful room, try out Caesars for a well run great room.

The talent will vary slightly, but if you are beating 25nl online you will do really well in these games. the biggest difference is the bet sizes are totally different. You cannot raise pocket kings for 3x the big blind and expect less than 4 or 5 people calling you. Also there is alot more chasing so get ready for varience. The lowest nl game in terms of buyin and talent is probably Luxor. They have a 40min and 100max and there are nothing but beginners in that game.

Also lol to whoever said the limit game is a rock garden at Binions. NOBODY folds in that game. My dad played that one all 5 days and whenever I sweated him no matter what table he was at NOONE folds. Have fun and know you will crush.

My favs: T.I., I.P., and MGM
My worst Palms, HP, Hooters

Also use this map to plan your trip..GL
