[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] bet flop 100% of the time, checking for balance is pretty retarded at 200nl lol. Bet turn for sure, and as played raise river. Wow [/ QUOTE ] So I'm just supposed to bet because I have an overpair? I hated that flop in regards to his range. I trust my reads, which are usually pristine, so I decided to check. The turn card obviously sucked. What do I expect to get called by if I push the river? I could see him checking the nuts three times but a set three times? Unlikely as a lot of cards would kill his action on the river. [/ QUOTE ] bet for value and a million other reasons. bet so he'll shove TT. this is pretty basic... turn check is fine as played but wtf at getting to turn. obv get called by sets/two pair. i understand that people are more likely to slowplay straights than sets on these boards, but i'm pretty sure he can slowplay both and way more set combos than JTs. he's not folding a set to a shove. getting out of this spot losing 1/4 buyin is not something to brag about - it means you're missing a ton of value in other spots. |
