Default Re: Staking LuckyJimm - is this fair?

You did nothing but lose on your own money, and now you want to start being staked? I feel this is a horrible mistake on your part. If you've made the decision in your life to be a degenerate gambler, that's one thing. I'm afraid you open up a whole new area of pain and worry when you start borrowing from other people to feed your addiction. I know you say it's a stake, and the money is yours to lose free of charge but believe me, nothing in this world is free.

Dude its like 500 bucks. I think the guy came to Jim first also.

I'm just from a different school of thought. I'd never take a dime from anyone, especially not to freeking gamble with. I'd have offers from friends, relatives, hell even dealers at my local casinos to stake me in games. I've turned them all down immediately.
If I can't make it on my own, I don't want it. Sure I'd like to move up in limits quicker, but it will be on my money.
Anytime you loan or borrow money you're just asking for trouble, it's just my personal opinion LuckyJimm should stay away from any staking arrangements. It doesn't matter if it's $500, or 50,000. He's not a winning player and I don't think he's being completely upfront with the potential backer.
