I'm a fairly successful online player, won a few mtt's and so on...but I played live for the first time last night...
3rd hand I get JJ, make it 8 to go playin 1/2nl i'm bb, lady to my left 3 seats just calls... flop: j92 i check, she bets 15 call turn: 8 i check, she puts 30, i push for 110 more river: K she shows KK, nh maaaam so that was my first ever live hand...a good memory I suppose. Another thing I noticed is that A: people don't fold open ended/flush draws...no matter the bet B: I saw 6 players in 4 hours of play show AA or KK at showdown without raising preflop... C: People will check anything but the nuts at the river because "he could have had...(fill in the absolute nuts hand) D: 3/6 limit is a joke...might as well play blackjack overall a pretty good experience...does anything I listed here seem standard to your live experiences? Obviously this is just one 4-5 hour session.... |
