If all vegans talked this way, I wouldn't mock them. I only mock the morally superior, condescending attitude.

How about this. Try asking some vegetarians when they started and what they had to deal with. Most of the ones I know(I would say I know more than the average person) that when they take meat out of their diet they take a lot of flack. Usually they families do their best to break this attitude and as do their friends. Then people on the outside make fun of them and misrepresent their ideals. So they become defensive.
