I turn a straight, but river pairs the board (200NL 6 max)
Villain is running about 28/12. No other reads.

I really hate that board pairing, but the only hand I can see that helping is 88. 99 is very unlikely, since I have a 9 in my hand. And I would think a 25/12 Re-raises JJ. I think I am ahead here. I decide to check for a couple reasons: - I think the only better hand a bet gets to fold is a hand with a Ten in it. - A check may get two pair to bet, or induce a bluff from a busted flush draw, which is what I think he more than likely has. So I checked with the intention of calling any bet. You like? |
