I welcome any/all opinions on my play of this hand:
Live $1/$3 NLHE game at TI on a Thursday afternoon. Table contains one mega-newbie who I believe does not fully know the hand rankings, and who has apparently never played Hold'em before. He is the second worst player at the table. The worst player is a guy who tried to bluff the mega newbie out of a big pot. Villian in this hand is playing about 40% of his hands and is usually coming in for a $15 raise, regardless of position. He is semi-aggressive post-flop and has shown down some pretty weak hands. Hero is in the BB with AA. Folded to villian in MP, he raises to $15. Villian has approx $500 and hero has him covered. Folded to hero, hero re-raises to $60, villian calls. Flop ($121 pot) is K,8,2 rainbow. Hero bets $100, villian calls. Turn ($321 pot) is another K. Hero bets $120, villian shoves for $220 more. What is my play here? Also, any feedback on my line to this point in the hand? |
