Default 4k from company stock to which Van. Index Fund?

Our company was sold, and I went ahead and cashed out my shares as I will no longer be receiving a 15% discount each quarter. Have about 4k that I'm going to throw in an Van. Index fund. If you were going to invest today which would you choose? Not adverse to some risk ...

My ideas?
Vanguard Balanced Index Fund Investor Shares (VBINX)
Vanguard 500 Index Fund Investor Shares (VFINX)
Vanguard 500 Index Fund Investor Shares (VFINX)
Vanguard Extended Market Index Fund Investor Shares (VEXMX)

Would any of these work for a long term investment with low fees?
