i dont know why people want to 3bet the flop...once he checkraises the flop you have about 50 percent equity vs his range i would think so 3betting just allows you to getting owned by a better hand or let air off the hook.

I don't see how you are letting him off the hook by 3 betting...imo it ties him to the hand more and will make him more showdown bound than a turn raise.

I like a flop 3 bet more than a turn raise. It will help prevent 3 bets going in on the turn.

It's odd, intuitively 50% equity seems way too low...
