rickrolled.. at the gym?

so im at the tail end of my workout at my schools newly rennovated workout facility. [censored] top of the line stuff, great gym. however, it is notorious for the absolutely atrocious musical selection (with regards especially to lifting music. pretty much generally speaking too); songs like summer love/any other JTimbo hit of the month are within the norm. Pretty gay. But today, even with me being already conditioned and prepared for possible strange/bad music, something managed to totally astound and horrify me.

As I mentioned, I was nearly finished, going into my second to last set, when there was a song change. Something immediatly clicked in my brain. At first I was like, "nah, cant be". but after about 5 sec I realized that they were playing the [censored] rickroll song. I was in total shock, not sure whether i should be angry, appauled, disgusted, amused, whatever. I dropped my weights, look around, and nobodys demeanor had changed. But it was very real. Every all too familiar detail of the song was unmistakably there. Finally the inevitable feeling of 'fuuuck i got rickrolled' set in. I took solace in that fact that of course the other gym patrons got equally as owned, even if unknowingly.

Im sure i'm not alone in the fact that I never expected to have the interweb phenomana that is rickrolling become part of everyday real life. it made no sense to me that it was seperated from twoplustwo and youtube. it was like the [censored] twilight zone.

so anyways, maybe some sorry [censored](or perhaps a genius in his own right) in the back who hates his job decided to rickroll the entire gym? who knows, but beware, rickroll has crossed over into the real world
