Bad Play by AA?

Fairly deep in MTT, down to around 170 players. I am somewhere around 20th in chips with a little more than double the average stack.

In the small blind I only CALL the cut-off raise, with the intent to keep the BB in the hand. But, my gut tells me whenever this situation comes up I should push PF.

Now we can say that after I called when the flop came all clubs I could have played much better post flop and I agree. I can see that if I played after the flop differently I MIGHT (unlikely) have still taken this down; but right now I am only asking about PF.
