New Crowded House album - ship it!!!!
Yeah that's right! That band that had that song from the 80's before most of you internet poker playing whiper snappers were even born - "Don't Dream It's Over" - Yeah - that band.....
Once again, Neil Finn proves he's one of the best songwriters working today. Time on Earth is nothing short of brilliant. Started out as another Neil Finn solo album, but with the suicide of drummer Paul Hester, they found themselves back in touch, guitars were picked up and they have made one of their best. It takes a little warming up to and doesn't hit the listener as fast as say Woodface, but after a few listens, you'll realize it's as good as anything they've done. Co-Produced by Steve Lillywhite (the man behind U2's 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 14th albums) They are touring the US now and I recommend you catch them. Top tracks - Don't Stop Now, Silent House, and Walked Her Way Down. |
