STT Huge Blinds -shoveshoveshove

Heads up in a 9-man SnG.
I was short for awhile 3 and 4 handed but many well-timed shoves eventually got me contending for 1st.
After I ko'd 3rd place and had like, a 1000 chip advantage (300/600 blinds) I stopped calling/standard-raising. If i was going to play, I shoved.

After the blinds jumped up to 400/800 I made a conscious decision to shove everytime I was in the SB, regardless of my cards. It worked eventually and I won, but is this bad strategy?
