River: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($1.9, 2 players) BB checks, Hero bets $1, BB calls. Results: Final pot: $3.9 Interested in hearing thoughts specifically on pre-flop play. I'm still trying to understand starting hand strength vis a vis position. My intuition is that this is a pretty strong starting hand, despite being unsuited, and I at least have position on the PFR. With 11 outs to the nuts (4 aces, 4 8's, 3 9's) and a bunch more outs to other straights, should I be raising the flop? Check behind on the river since the board paired on the turn? |
