Default Re: Does a \"high-end\" putter make a difference?

Speaking of two ball...I have one. I used to love it. Recently, though, I feel like the head is so heavy that I have a hard time controlling it.

Are you talking about longer or shorter putts? I have a 2-ball and I love it outside of 8 feet, but as you said, with a heavier head it is hard to make much of a stroke on shorter putts (especially downhill sliders).

Shorter putts...I just feel like the club will get away from me if I take a normal putting stroke, so then I tend to slow the stroke down a bit which, as we all know, creates all sorts of problems. I usually end up babying the ball and leaving my putts short

I don't know what a good remedy is...shorten up the backswing?
