AK hand vs other big stack Stars $25K ...okay deep gamble or overplay

Stars $25 tourney...haven't played much deepstack but we started with 3000...fun rollercoaster beginning at bad table...I was up to 4K and had my AK cracked by KJ and was down to 900 or so...fought back to 6500 and this hand came up...

villan was solid and i think he knew that i was raising with premium hands but he was tricky and liked to put players to the test...Part of me also felt like I was on borrowed time but is this a bad spot to gamble vs other big stack...I definitely felt I could outplay a lot of the players so I didnt need to gamble but folding and just calling OOP both seemed so awkward
