meaning when you decide on the appropriate amount of swings that your roll/situation can handle, you act on it.

For example (completely hypothetical), if you decide to play the 27s with 50 buy ins but say "as soon as I drop to 30 buy ins I move down to 16s and if I hit 100, move up", and adhere to that closely.
