Default Ipod on the golf course

Now, I'm a bit of a purist in general, but I'm curious what others think of this.

Lately if I'm playing by myself and walking, I decided to try listening to an audiobook on my Ipod on the course. Ipod in the pocket, run the wire up my shirt, earbuds--barely noticeable to anyone not within 10 feet of me. I won't do this if I'm playing with anyone else, and I'll keep the volume low so I can hear "fore," sirens, rangers, etc. I found I enjoy listening to an audiobook or light music in between shots. I just press the button through my pocket to pause it before I hit, then restart afterwards.

Anyone call this sacrilege? Have others been doing it? Just curious.
